Throggs Neck Bridge:
Take the bridge to New England Thruway North. From left lane, take the
Baychester Avenue exit (about 2.5 miles after getting off the Bridge).
North on Baychester to Pitman Avenue (approximately 2 miles). Turn right
onto Pitman. Go 3 blocks, turn left on Murdock Avenue. The Mount is on
the right. There is a parking area behind the school.
Bronx-Whitestone Bridge:
Drive north on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Get off at exit 7 - Boston
Road/Pelham Manor. At the light make a left. At the second light, make a
right on Pelham Parkway/South Fulton Avenue. At the 6th light make a
left on Sandford Blvd. Continue to Murdock Avenue. At Murdock Avenue,
make a right.
George Washington Bridge:
Take the bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway onto New England Thruway. From
the left lane take the Baychester Avenue exit. From there, use the above
directions for the Throggs Neck Bridge.
Bronx River Pkwy – North:
Take the 233rd Street exit. Make a left. Continue to Nereid
Avenue. At Nereid Avenue, make a right. Follow Nereid to Baychester
Avenue. Make a right onto to Baychester Avenue to Pitman Avenue. Make a
left onto Pitman Avenue. Travel 3 blocks to Murdock Avenue. At Murdock
Avenue, make a left, the Mount is on the right.
Bronx River Pkwy – South:
Take the Bronx River Road, Yonkers exit. At the exit, make a left on
Bronx River Road. Continue on Bronx River Road to Nereid Avenue. Make a
left onto Nereid Avenue. Follow Nereid to Baychester Avenue. Make a
right onto Baychester Avenue to Pitman Avenue. Make a left onto Pitman
Avenue. Travel 3 blocks to Murdock Avenue. At Murdock Avenue, make a
left, the Mount is on the right.
Westchester County:
Hutchinson River Parkway South to
Sandford Blvd., Mount Vernon. At the traffic light, make a left onto
Sandford Blvd. Follow Sandford Blvd. for approximately 1 mile to Murdock
Avenue. Make a right at Murdock Avenue.
Subway:
Take the #2 train to Nereid Avenue. Take the #16 (Mundy Lane) bus going
east (about 1 mile) to Murdock Avenue. Get off in front of the school.
OR Take the #2 train to 241st Street and White Plains Road.
Walk toward Baychester and Nereid Avenues. Make a left on Nereid Avenue.
Walk 3 blocks on Nereid Avenue.
The Mount is on the right. OR Take the D train to 205th
Street. Take the #16 bus directly to the Mount. OR Take the Dyre Avenue
Uptown - Lexington Avenue to 180th Street. Change to the #2 train.
Follow the directions for #2 train. OR Take the Jerome/Woodlawn train to
the end of the line. Take the #16 bus to the school.
The #16 bus stops at the Mount during school hours.
